Over recent years, the virus has demonstrated an unprecedented global expansion, affecting wild and domestic birds, causing substantial economic losses in the poultry sector, and raising increasing concerns due to its zoonotic and pandemic potential. Emerging infections in new hosts, including mammals, further underscore the evolving nature of the threat and the urgent need for coordinated, interdisciplinary responses.

In this context, the 12th International Symposium on Avian Influenza brings together leading scientists, veterinarians, medical researchers, industry representatives, and policy makers from around the world. The symposium will foster the exchange of the latest scientific knowledge, cutting-edge research, and practical experiences related to avian influenza.
